I Have A 2 Month Old Chihuahua That My Sister Gave Me For The Fact That He Peed And Pooped All Over Her House How Do I Potty Train Him?

We have two chihuahuas,and thats the second question the vet asks,do you have problems potty training training them?What we did was bought a baby play pin and place them in it and watched and listened and waited until she went potty {on a potty pad placed in the pen}and as soon as she went picked up the pad and took her out praising her .Don't leave a dirty pad in that confined area because they will eat there feces.While training them you have to watch there actions , they give you signs when they have to go potty,it"s a lot of work at first but gets easier as you learn there actions.Don't raise your voice while training them be kind and be patient,he will be potty trained in two weeks to one month.Don't leave your puppy in the pen for long periods only at night when it is sleep time,then you have to listen at night when it wakes up it has to potty.We put cat bells on there collars and when they wake up they shake there bell at that time you can run them outside or let him potty on the pad and change the pad when he finished.Our puppies won't poop on a wet pad I don't know why so if it's wet change it and out in a clean pad and he will probably have to poop especially if it's during the night.Hope this helps.
