Why Should I Recycle?

Answer Question

3 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

There is more and more emphasis being put on the importance of helping the environment. We all need to be 'greener' and do things which will benefit the environment.

For years we have used substances and materials which cannot be broken down naturally in the ground, subsequently causing large, ugly, smelly and overflowing landfill sights. They aren't good for the environment of the animals inhabiting it.

By using renewable sources and recyclable materials we help to sustain our resources and reduce waste and pollution. We all have the ability to recycle. Just simple things like re-using your shopping bags, taking old clothes to charity shops or drop off boxes, saving glass and putting it in bottle bins and keeping a separate bin for paper and cardboard to take away to recycle.
You'd be surprised how much paper you go through in a week!

Most local councils now offer a special recylable material collection so make sure you use it!

Because it helps the environment and it hurts it if we don't
