Can Lap Band Surg. Aid In Low Potassium Levels Cause Passing Out And Hot Flashes?
She has passed out 2 times in the past few months and her hands shake bad. She eats bad and throws up a lot. She had to have iv potassium after the last syncopal episode. No other problems were found except low potassium

You can find potassium in potatoes, and bananas, as well as broccoli, and orange juice. Tell her to eat these instead of other foods for a while, and see if this doesn't help. I suffer with low potassium all the time, and they put me on pills, because I hate the potatoes and bananas, but will take the orange juice and the brocolli. Hope this helps, good luck.

thanks for taking the time and suggestions but with the lap band she can only eat 2 ounces at at time and there are alot of foods she's not supposed to eat but she does.
