How many people can go up into the arch at a time and can they stay up in the arch? How long does a ride take to get to the top?

I suppose you are talking about The Gateway Arch of St.Louis. It is the tallest monument of Unites States. The observation platform has a Capacity of 100 - 140 persons and they reach there by elevators and trams to get up there. They can stand in the observation room.

The ride itself doesn't take very long I would say about 3-4 minutes to get to the top. There is 5 seats in each tram I believe, but the seat in the back of the tram could possibly fit two. I have been shoved into one with at least 5-6 people at once. You can stay up as long as you would like, they have trams going all day long so once your up there you just have to wait for another one that is going back down. It is a very cool site and I live in St. Louis and have been up a ton of times. I had to go when they changed the baseball stadium just to see it from above. If you go in the winter and it has snowed people write things in the snow below. Be careful though sometimes ppl write offensive things lol.
