How Do I Know It's Time To Get Off My Anti-depressants And Anti-psychotics?

Answer Question

I got off of mine when I found other ways of finding sanity like meditation and church.  If you can release your stresses and find other ways of getting your anxiety off your back.  I don't know how religious you are but counseling at church helped me a lot.  I still have my moments but I recognize when I am feeling that way and deal with them.

You usually don't know... My friends and family pointed things out to me. I just took a chance when I got off mine that they were right. They were not working for me anymore emotionally and every time we upped them I just became a zombie with mood swings. I guess you know to quit, when the meds are only making things worse. It is a good idea to consider switching meds or gradually stepping off the ones you are taking.

Stop taking it for 4-5 days... If I stop taking my anti-depressant or anxiety meds everyone will know... If you stop it and start to feel anxious and start to feel down you prob aren't ready... Try church if your spiritual... Never know... Good luck...
