Fleas can be carried in by humans as well. All it really takes is 1 flea to make it inside and to lay eggs in your carpet,bedding or to find your cat. Then there will be hundreds. There is a pill called Comfort is that you can give to your cat, it kills fleas within 30mins of giving it to your pet, and keeps them off for a month, meanwhile you can bomb your house with a flea fogger, or better yet most vet offices sell a spray that you can put into your carpets that kills the eggs. If you cant find the spray i suggest shampooing any carpets and washing all pet beddings with the "flea/tick"solutions most stores sell in the shampooers asile .Good Luck!!!
