Here are some good (IMHO) books to consider ..

        1984 by George Orwell

        • A tale of dark dystopian world not a million miles from the one we live in today, an everlasting war against an invisible enemy and one man's struggle to be free

        Hunger by Knut Hamsun

        • Won a Nobel prize for literature. Despite the author having some very "dodgy" politics a great book ;-)

Another Roadside Attraction by Tom Robbins

        • One of the funniest books I have ever read

The Colour of Magic by Terry Pratchett

        • The first of 37 (IIRC) books about Disc World, a flat planet, balancing on the backs of four elephants, which stand on the back of a  huge giant turtle as it wins though space. I believe that Terry Pratchett will be lauded as a latter day Tolkien, he certainly deserves to be hailed as a genius, his ongoing personal battle with Alzheimer's disease is both tragic and inspiring IMO

HTH and I hope you find the enjoyment in books that I do (I should read more but life gets SO busy it's hard to find time ;-) )

Also I'm reading a book called wolfs trap. It's alright, its bought werewolves and crime. I don't like crime books but it'd pretty good.

If you like books about like Werewolves & Vampires, i suggest

          The Summoning- Kelly Armstrong
Night World- J.L smith ( there`s three books in one, & there are 3 different books to the books, if that makes sense.... )

A really good emo book is,

          The Perfect Cut- Julie Burtinshaw

The Chronicles of VLadimir Tod by Heather Brewer is a good vampire book,
The House of Night series by P.c. Cast and Kristin Cast is also a good vampire book,
Stargirl and Love, Stargirl are awesome,
          Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen,
eggs and Maniac Magee, both by jerry spinelli
          and
          Peaches by Jodi Lynn Anderson
Oh and I heard that the hunger games is a good book if you like gore and violence ( I plan on reading it) =]

stay away from twilight though, it was really dumb.....
