    Government and inter-governmental sources of funding vary somewhat from country to country, however there are some similarities. Some government  funding sources within many governments could be similar to following list:
    Agencies which are Independent Agencies include:National Science Foundation, NASA, NHI.  Department of Commerce Agencies: The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, National Institute of Standards & Technology, National Telecomunications & Information Administration. Agencies with the Department of Defense Agencies: Office of Naval, Air Force Office of Scientific Research, US Army Research Office, Department of Advanced Research Project Agency, Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Ballistic Missile Defense Organization.

    Other Agencies could be Homeland Security Advanced Research Projects Agency, Center for Disease Control, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, National Science Foundation and Homeland Security, Small Business Administration Loans.  Many Governmental loans for Education grants/college level Degrees and Technology Certifications, Research grants and grants for the Elderly, Women and Minorties.
