If you want to get rid of your present screen name, you can do the following. You may change the format of your screen names, which is basically modifying the capitalisation and space between the characters in the screen name. Alternatively, one can register for a new screen name. To format the screen name on a Windows computer, choose the My AIM menu, choose My Options, and then choose Format Screen Name. On a Macintosh computer, choose the Edit menu, and then choose Account Options and Screen Name Format.
Old screen names cannot be deleted; however one can create additional screen names.
