Art involves a diverse range of activities, which revolve around the creativity and innovation of human mind. Art includes artifacts, literature, music, paintaing, sculptures, print making etc. All these activities are a reflection of human asthetics. I really like art and I dont think there can be a person who doesnot appreciate and like art.

It really depends. I am very picky about art. I've been to a lot of museums, and I hate the vibe they give off and the art- most of it I really don't like and I kinda feel sick being there. So it depends.

I love all types of art, music, especially music because I play and violin and I've played ever since the 6th grade.

My daughter is also a violinist,! :) She has been playing now 19 years (she only started 2 years ahead of you) and she plays in the Denver Philharmonic. By coincidence, she is also an aspiring doctor, which I see is an interest of yours. I'm so happy you have your music and your violin. Keep up the good work! You go girl.

I love art and artistic people. I am in awe of those who are gifted in the arts. My favorite contemporary painters are Luis Sotil and Eric Waugh. I'm not much of an impressionist fan...

I also think music is an incredible art-- I love the cello (yo yo ma comes to mind) and the violin. I also find joy in almost all contemporary (not classical) music - including nickelback, maroon 5, journey, eagles, beatles, aeorsmith, eva cassidy, alanis morissette, pink floyd and on and on and on... Music is the universal language to me. Seems to break all cultural barriers.

I love sculpting and writing as arts also, and I sketch in charcoal-- mostly people. But don't ask me to draw anything in Pictionary or Cranium. It will make our team lose very badly. :)

I do like art, i like creating it and also looking and admiring it. I don't normally go for the abstract stuff though, I'm not sure why i just don't really like it. I like the really creative pictures that look like they could be real but not like a photograph. You have to be amazing to make a painting look like a photo but i just don't like when its to hard to tell the difference. Amy brown is my favorite artist but i also like Sandro botticelli (for art last year i had to make a fake birth of Venus and really got into him). If you like faries then you should check out Amy brown, they're really pretty.

Like him, I love him....he is not just a guy with no arms & no legs hanging on my wall. Adding to the little guy with no arms & no legs, Matt, at my door, or the man without any limbs in my pool, Bob an his substitute, the man with no arms and no legs in the ditch, Phil. What a great group of torsos....who could ever forget them!

Visual art isn't for me, but Music is such a big part of my life... I don't know who I'd be if piano, violin, and listening music were removed from my life

I think great art is a triumph of the human spirit to create, dream and see mankind in ideal form. I love art that expresses our fears, love, thoughts such as exhibited in Michelangelo's "Winged Victory" at the Louvre in Paris, or his timeless classic of young male beauty in his sculpture "David". Art is timeless in it's wonder and moves us to see ourselves idealized and still human in our sorrow.

      answered 11 months ago

Just a tiny point: the "Winged Victory" was not by Michelangelo who was not born until at least 1,700 years later. In fact, no one knows who the artist(s) was. That's one of the best pieces in the Louvre. Too bad the head is missing.

Uhh, people, this person is asking how to answer questions, *not* whether you like art. (WAY to pay attention!)
anyway, go to the bottom of the answers/question, and type your answer in the little blue box that says 'answer the question above'. Then press 'ANSWER NOW!' and there you go. =)
