If I Burn 1000 Calories While Running How Many Grams Of Fat Have I Burnt?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

There are 9 calories in one gram of fat. Therefore, if you burn 1000 calories, then you should burn 111.11 grams of fat. This is the estimation which should happen but in fact it does not happen because after burning your calories, your body first consumes energy from carbohydrates instead of fats. Therefore, the figure 111.11 grams will decrease. Some fitness experts suggest that if you consume low calories instead of loosing weight through calorie burning, then it will be more effective. For example, if you take only few fruits or vegetables and then you exercise, in that case your body will consume energy from fats. I hope now you are clear about it!
