We have noticed some humming birds in the area and have been looking for sites of nest in trees. We hope to watch them with binoculars but are unsure what to look for.
The nest oh humming bird is made of saliva secreted by them in order to make nest. They secrete sticky saliva in the form of fine threads and make net of it. After exposure to air these saliva threads become hard so proving a place to live and lay eggs.
The part about saliva drying didnt sound right so a friend of mine said to look up the answer on Encarta and even the picture he furnished with her answer is wrong that is not a hummingbird!
