    No it is illegal to do this if yget caught then it is a federal offence.

      The answer is no, you can't transfer another's good credit to your credit rating. These aren't carbon offsets we're talking about.

        Tprotect FICO scores, Fair Isaac is changing its FICO scoring formula so that it will no longer recognize authorized-user accounts.

        If you could do it, it wouldn't be legal, but it can't be done.  The other person's credit score is in their name, not yours.  Anything that occurs would go toward their credit.
