Were Can I Find The Transmission Dipstick On 2004 Ford Explorer?

    It should be located at the rear of the engine, back by the firewall area. Look for a tube that is about level with the manifold. If you have owners manual, it will show you in engine diagram section.

      There is no transmission dipstick on a 2004 Explorer.  You have to check the fluid level on the transmission housing itself (directly under driver seat).  You need to remove the fill bolt and ensure the fluid is even with the opening.
