If you transfered your files via the usb cable they are probably on the card. However you won't be able to see them without doing a software update from the LG site. In fact it's probably better to format the card, update the software, transfer the music files to the card, highlight them and then drag and drop them into the 'sounds' folder as described in the other answer.
