Is Us Career Institute For Real Or A Scam?
I want to be a medical transcriptionsit but not sure about giving them the money without investigation first.

I have not found their accreditation in DETC. You should call DETC and request accredidation information and compare the phone numbers and address.
They also claim that they are the largest distant learning institute. It really does not sound reliable to me and i think it is a scam.

Their website also has a Better Business Bureau insignia but they are not listed with the Colorado BBB.

It's not a scam. I taken the class and now working at a big name gym. Thank to U.S. Career Institude. I also have my own Bussiness.

Don't use U.S Career Institute. I payed the start up fee and received 1 book and decided I did not want to do the course. They said I owe the $750 for cancelling!!!! They suck!!!!!

They are not suppose to help you find a job. That is not in the program agreement.
This is a lie. They do help you find employment and they do it very well.......
Stay far far away from US Career Institute. I enrolled on two different occasions with very negative results both times. As soon as you get to a certain point within the training, you'll be told that your work isn't up to the level that the school requires. They'll expect you to pay the remainder of your tuition in full.

That seems like a personal problem, not the school. You do have to apply yourself.
You should have read the contract before signing up. It works if you actually study. They can't study for you. And, they certainly won't pass you if you aren't doing the work. All tests are open book. Hellooooo..... How can you not do well? Duh?
This is a lie. If you can't cope and can't get through the course they will offer you other options like another course. If you still can't cope and have learning difficulties they will give you a full refund but if you are lazy and just refuse to study and drop out you will have to pay for your own foolishness. They are a great school for those serious about a good education for alow price.
It's not their job to find you employment, it's their job to educate you. I dont know whether it's a scam or not, but they aren't there as career counsellors, they are educators. And most schools have cancellation fees, look it up before spending money.

This is a lie. They do offer to help you with finding work and they do a great job at it too. They are there as career counsellors too. This they tell you from the get go. Its what helps in the decision of many to join.
Make sure you are using punctuation, as in U.S. Career Institute when you are on the DETC accreditation website. They are there and I have had a good experience with them.
