What Are Some Methods To Prevent Procrastination?
I procrastinate all the time and can't seem to stop!

Procrastination is basically putting off actions or work to a later time. It is an avoidance behavior, which might have serious implications. For people who have a very high degree of disorder, therapy is the most useful solution through which they learn new behaviors and achieve an improved quality of life. But for not so serious procrastinators, it is important that they understand the value of time and completion of activities for achievement of their goals. Only self-realization can get them through this.

One good way to help with procrastination is to make daily chore/tasks lists and also have a daily planner book to write appointments, notes, etc. Is a great starting point. When you finish each chore/task, scratch it off your list. This gives a person a feeling of accomplishment. Also, if you make a daily list of tasks to be done, the day before, it also helps you stay focused so that you are ready for the day.

Put signs saying JUST DO IT!! All over the house! For example, instead of just putting that cup or glass in the sink, rinse it and put it in the dishwasher while looking at the JUST DO IT!!! Sign.
Procrastination is not an easy thing to overcome, you really have to work at it; it's kind of like being a pack rat.
Give the signs a try, and if that doesn't work I would suggest seeing a counselor.
