Answering Questions-why Does No One Respond To The Person Who Answers Their Questions?
If someone has taken the time to answer a questions i think it would be nice if the person who answered it gets some sort of response for there answer, surely its just polite to. Or am i wrong?

It would be nice to receive a reply and the person asking the question is susoese to mark it as answered but most never do. I think a lot of people ask a question and never come back to read the answer. You are right though.

its nice to know someone agrees with me i just wish everyone else would.
I have to agree with you. I believe it would be polite, however the Internet has disconnected us from normal politeness because we are not in person. In addition, typing online has no social limits such as grammar formality or how to write a correspondence. In school, a person is taught to write a letter correctly, but not an e-mail or Internet correspondence. Also, depending what is written, it is easily mistaken in the wrong context rather than in person because no expression is being viewed. I think there is a loss of human contact, which is greatly needed in today's society, such as politeness online and further more, in person. Just my thoughts. Thanks for posting your comment.
I have noticed that some people do comment back on answers given and others extend a hand of friendship. Both gestures are very polite and the way things should be in the world. I try to respond back to those answers that are real answers to show my appreciation but have found that sometimes, I have forgotten and hope that those folks do not think I am disrespecting them in any way.

Well, that's a slight hyperbole, but sometimes people just don't get the chance. You have to step in someone else's shoes before you go ahead and get sore at them. Most people have another life besides the Internet. I personally don't mind if people don't respond to the answers I give. I get satisfaction simply from knowing that I did my best to help them out. Even if I didn't get a thank-you back. At least I tried.

I understand that you are "upset" but someday they will listen to your answers and respond to them and you will be excited and feel not so insecure.
Yes, it would be nice to get a thank you or something because then you know someone actually appreciates your answers.
