What Is Cosmic Gate?

Cosmic Gate is the name of a German hard trance duo. Claus Terhoeven; more popularly known as Nic Chagall and Stefan Bossems more popularly known as DJ Bossi are the two people who constitute the band. They came together by chance in a recording studio and then formed the band in the year 1999. They managed to make a mark with their eclectic singles and even more unique videos. The band released three singles titled 'The Drums' , 'Mental Atmosphere' and then 'Somewhere over the Rainbow' all of which they remixed using certain aspects of the widely popular movie 'The Wizard of Oz.' Despite this, the band only got fame in the year 2001 when they released 'Firewire' ; their single that became hugely popular in the year 2001.
