    Derby is a town and a district in the county of Derbyshire in England. The town is situated on the banks of the river Derwent. It is surrounded by beautiful hills, in the middle of the Midland railway system. It is located 29 miles NW of Leicester, 42 NNE of Birmingham, and 127 NW by N of London. Its strategic location has contributed a lot to the increase in its trade and commerce in the recent times. It has also gained popularity as an important tourist destination for its beautiful landscapes and other interesting locations. Some of the Derby hotels provide excellent accommodation for tourists at the centre of the city.
