How Did Elvis Presley Die?

Elvis Aaron Presley died on August 16th 1977. The course of death was cardiac arrhythmia witch basically means that the heart was beating irregularly and unfortunately stopped, was an overdose of prescription drugs...he was prescribed Codeine which was something he was allergic to He was very sick the last few years of his life , and took a lot of medications.
And when he died they think he could of took a few steps away from the toilet and then died and when he died he was lay in his own sick (N)

He died of cardiac arrhythmia at the age of 42 on August 16, 1977. He awoke in the middle of the night to use the bathroom (due to history drug use and weight problem, he couldnt control his bladder and bowls) . While on the toilet he vomited and was said to crawl a few inches away from the toilet and soon died in his own throw up. After a couple of hours, his fiencee (Ginger) found him on the bathroom floor. Staff called the paramedics and Elvis was rushed to the hospital where he was officially pronounced dead. The coroner recorded the cause of death as cardiac arrhythmia. While true in the strictest sense (cardiac arrhythmia basically means that the heart was beating irregularly and in this case, finally stopped), the attending physicians deliberately omitted the fact that what had apparently caused Elvis' heart to beat irregularly and then stop was an overdose of prescription drugs. These drugs included codeine, Valium, morphine, and Demerol, to name a few. Im a really HUGE elvis fan. I'm 15 years old and although i haven't even met the "king of rock" i really miss him. Elvis Presley died at the age of forty two in 1977. He was found sprawled on his bathroom floor by Ginger Alden his fiancée. Evidence showed that he probably vomited while seated on the toilet and crawled several feet before dying. There is much controversy surrounding his death. Many speculations emerged and since none have been proven beyond any measure of doubt one can only wonder what the real cause of this superstar's death was.

Kathy Westmoreland his close friend and backup singer wrote that he had been ill for a long time and endless public appearances finally did him in. In his book Careless Love, Peter Guralnick wrote that Elvis Presley died of a drug overdose- since he had no history of heart ailment. Guralnick further reveals that Elvis probably died due to an anaphylactic shock which was brought on by some codeine pills that he was prescribed by his dentist for which he had an allergy. Bioscience Laboratories who conducted Presley's autopsy indicated that they had found fourteen drugs in his body, ten in considerably large quantities.

Elvis was becoming sick and his doctor gave him too many medications (and he took a lot anyway because of his bad illness) and one day it was bye bye elvis. =*(

He didn't die. He manages the Burger King in Kalamazoo, MI
