You should keep chocolate away from your dog because it is harmful to it. It is natural for dogs to desire for more chocolate once they get into its habit. It can cause Epileptic seizures in dogs even it can kill dogs. It acts as a poison in dogs. It contains theobromine, which causes bad effect on dog's heart muscles and central nervous system. Over dosage of toxic chocolate shows few symptoms in dogs like vomiting, diarrhea, or hyperactivity. So try to keep your dog away from chocolates.

Chocolate for a dog is like giving it poison!! One thing it does it cause "serious/fatal" kidney problems.....like not being able to control them and thus leading to 'death.' I've seen it done and it's not a pretty sight. I kept telling this person not to let her dog have chocolate and she says, "well, it hasn't hurt her yet." "Well," it did!!!!! She ended up burying her in her back yard.........

Chocolate is not good for dogs,  Enough of it can be fatal to a dog.  We had a dog that was crazy about chocolate.  We found a product called "Dog Kisses" by Hartz-Mountain.  I don't know if's still being made, but she loved that too.
