What Is Meant By Covelent Bonding?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Covalent (you spelled it wrong) bonding is the bonding of two atoms by the sharing of pairs of electrons.

If two atoms have opposite valances -- that is, one is missing one electron, and another has one extra electron for example -- then they could share the extra electron between them, thus bonding the atoms.
