You might benefit from giving them sunflower seeds. When I was growing up, that was one of the things that they really enjoyed. I know they love the veggies, all sorts of them, corn, spinach, lettuce, carrots, broccoli, give the these kinds of foods as well as nuts, they love them. Hope this helps, good luck.

 My guinea pig's fave thing to eat is his vegetables, mixed with some of those pellets you can buy from the pet store. I am fairly sure that hamster's and guinea pigs eat the same thing! Hope this helps!
