What Is The Film "Monsters Vs Aliens" About?

“Monsters vs Aliens” was released in March 2009. It is a computer animated 3D film by the company Dreamworks.

The story begins with a young woman named Susan Murphy, who is due to marry a weatherman named Derek Dietl. On the day of their wedding, Susan and Derek briefly discuss their future plans before Derek leaves to prepare for the ceremony. Just as Susan is about to go inside, she is hit by a meteor. The incident causes Susan to absorb quantonium, a substance that causes her to go green. As she approaches Derek in the church, he notices that she is glowing. As he comments on it, Susan begins to grow, eventually smashing out of the church and becoming a giantess.

Susan is then captured by the military and renamed Ginormica. She is sent to a prison facility where other monsters are being kept. She learns that General W.R. Monger is in charge of the facility and is introduced to the other monsters, who consist of a scientist who is a cockroach type monster named Dr Cockroach Ph. D, a blob named B.O.B, a fish-ape hybrid named The Missing Link and a huge creature named Insectosaurus. The monsters cannot have contact with the outside and have been kept in the facility for 50 years. Susan becomes incredibly distressed with the situation and wants to be turned back her normal size so that she can live a normal life again.

Susan is being traced by an alien named Gallaxhar, who wishes to obtain quantonium that Susan aborbed. He sends a robotic probe after her and begins to destroy everything after an attempt to make peace by President of the United States goes wrong. After a discussion with the President, General Monger uses the monsters to fight the probe. General Monger promises the monsters that they will be freed if they manage to defeat the probe. Susan joins the monsters and is tracked down by the probe. She is chased through the streets and ends up on the Golden Gate Bridge. At the bridge, the monsters manage to defeat the probe.

The monsters, who are now free, go with Susan and she introduces them to her family and friends. They cause chaos when she leaves them with her family whilst she goes to find Derek. She locates him, but he ends their relationship, telling her that he doesn't wish to be with her because he feels that her new appearance could overshadow his career. Susan is distraught, but then realises that she is happy to be with her new friends and wishes to remain how she is.

Shortly afterwards, she is captured by Gallaxhar. The monsters try to help her, but Gallaxhar stops them, killing Insectosaurus in the process. On board the ship, Susan chases Gallaxhar but ends up trapped in a machine that absorbs the quantonium from her body. She becomes her normal size again and has now lost the strength and powers that she had when she was a giantess. Gallaxhar clones himself to create an army.

B.O.B, Dr Cockroach and the Missing Link manage to track Susan down. They save her and activate the ship's self-destruct system. Susan becomes trapped from her friends, who tell her to save herself. She manages to obtain the quantonium from Gallaxhar and becomes a giantess again, which enables her to save her friends. Susan and the monsters escape the ship and are rescued by General Monger. They escape using Insectosaurus, who placed his body in a cocoon and has become a giant butterfly. The self-destruct system is still activated and the ship is destroyed.

Susan and the monsters return to Susan's home. Derek tells Susan that he wishes to get back with her, but it is clear that he only wishes to do so as he believes that her powers will help his career if he interviews her. Susan does not wish to get back with him and instead humiliates him by having B.O.B catch him and spit him out whilst live on air. Susan continues to work with her new friends when they are called to sort out a monster attack in Paris.

It is about a grown woman who is getting married before the wedding she gets hit by a meteorite in the  space rock there is some kind of potion so when she gets hit by it she gets really really huge and her hair turns white and then she meets some other monsters and they get in a war against aliens that is why it is called monsters vs aliens
