Looking At It From An Evolutionary Viewpoint, Could Dinosaurs (Eg. Mokele Mbembe Of The Congo) Still Be Walking The Earth Today?

According to some eyewitnesses, there is an unknown species of sauropod living in the lush tropical forests around the Lake Tele region in Africa. Is this possible? Does anyone think this could actually be a living dinosaur?

Global changes such as climate or destruction of natural food sources cause the extinction of a species. I suppose it could be argued that there are places on this big earth of ours where conditions have not changed and an otherwise extinct species still survives. That is the stuff of good fiction however with satellites circling the globe taking pictures of every square inch we pretty much know if something as big as a dinosaur or a dragon were around.

That's all well and good...but remember there are vast regions of tropical forests with canopys so dense that even the best digital satellite imagery cannot penetrate. It is in these regions that a dinosaur may very well be thriving undisturbed by man!
