Basically organizational behavior concepts should be addressed in management functioning roles and skills in order to increase the effective management, therefore, many concepts of organizational behavior are used in management roles. For example, in organizational behavior basic approaches to leadership are used which include trait theory, behavioral theories, and contingency theories like Fiedler contingency models. As you know, leadership is the basic skill of the managers therefore, these organizational behavior theories help the managers in improving their leadership styles and selecting the right approach depending upon the nature of the business.

Similarly, concepts which are related with increasing a friendly environment also facilitate the managers like contemporary team issues in managing teams, creation of effective teams etc. Similarly, the typology of deviant workplace behavior help the managers to manage the environmental conditions at the workplace. In conclusion, I would like to say that organizational behavior concepts are very necessary to understand the management roles and skills, that's why it has been introduced as a main subject in HR and Business studies.
