How Do I Download Movies And Games To My Psp From The Computer Without Any Problems?

Ok... You are asking about two COMPLETELY different things, so I'll address them separately...

Starting with the movies thing. If you have downloaded a movie (or converted it with some software on your pc from the DVD) and it's in .avi format, then Eraser5 has given you excellent advice, as the program PSPVideo9 is excellent for converting video to the mp4 format your PSP requires. It is a little complicated so far as customizations, but I think it's a good thing, as it means you can get the best out of your PSP if you are willing to learn a few tricks...

However, if your video is still just a DVD, or is a format other than .avi (to date, that's the only format I've been able to convert with PSPVideo9), then things get a little complicated... Heh. For DVD conversion to PSP, I recommend a program called 'DVDRipper Platinum'... You will either need to pay for it, or find a hacked copy online (hopefully virus free), and install it... It will allow you to rip a full movie to the PSP direct from the DVD, and will allow you to specify audio track, subtitle track (if any), and format the screen ratio to either maintain the original ration (recommended) or stretch it one way or another to match the ratio of the PSPs screen (not recommended... Can make squashed or stretched vids... They look weird)...

Unlike videos (which Sony wants you to play on your PSP), ripped games are something Sony definitely DOES NOT want you to be able to play from your memory stick... After all, that's where they make their money...
So to do so, requires that you bypass Sony altogether, and that means that you MUST have your firmware hacked (that's the software that runs your PSP, and does not go away when you turn it off, or lose power. That's why it's firmware, not software... It sticks around), and replaced with 'homebrew' firmware... You'll need to do some homework online to learn how to do it, and if your PSP is a slim, you will probably need to use someone's fat PSP that has already been hacked to complete the process... But once you do, you will be able to add a folder to the root of your memory stick called ISO, and dump any game with the .iso or .cso extension into that folder, and you will be able to play it straight from the memory stick...

Best of luck to you, hope this has helped a little!
