What Is Best Flour For Pizza Dough?

Years ago I heard of a recipe using an Italian flour[that I can't remember] for pizza dough. What is its name, can it be bought in U.S., is there a similar replacement?

The best flour is Tipo 00. Or double zero flour. The flour is very fine, like confectioners sugar. I've only been able to buy this flour in Italian specialty stores. Usually a bag goes for $2.50.
