    Like radicals have the same value under the radical sign.

    Examples
      3√2, -2√2  are like radicals. They can be added to give √2
      √3, √2  are not like radicals. When added, they give (√3)+(√2)
      √6, √24  are not like radicals, but they can be made to be like radicals. √24 = 2√6
