Frank Zappa's career as a musician spanned 33 years, during which he released an astounding number of albums -  well over sixty. His musical trademark was the blend of rock music, satire, absurdity, and scatalogical humour. His music combined and revealed his deep understanding of contemporary classical figures like Stravinsky, Stockhausen, and Varèse, along with a love for the doo wop rock and roll of the late 50s and for the guitar driven rock of the 70s.

Above all Zappa was a satirist who seemed to have endless reserves of scorn and a wicked sense of humor and absurdity that has delighted countless fans, even his lyrics would be considered by many to border on obscene.
Frank Zappa has a huge following all over the world, particularly in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Italy, Holland and the Scandinavian countries.
