Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Menopause is a natural condition observed in women when their menstrual cycle stops. It is not a sudden process or a disease. Generally, a woman experiences irregular menses before complete menopause sets in. Hormone production in ovaries reduces. The hormonal changes develop many other problems. Women experience hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, weight gain, concentration problems, urinary changes, sexual disinterest, heart palpitations and head aches.

The distress and stress resulting due to the symptoms can be reduced manifold by massage. Massage can relieve the stress. It can be combined with acupressure. In acupressure some meridian points on the body are pressed with finger. Foot reflexology and Shiatsu massage help in good circulation and provide a general feeling of relaxation.
Massage also reduces depression, mood swings, memory and fatigue.
