There Is Mold In Our House That We Are Renting, Can We Move Out?

Do we need to pay rent b/c their is mold growing in our house that we are renting? We have a doctors note stating that we are allergic and don't know our rights?

    Please consult a lawyer. Despite comments to the contrary, you should be able to find help at your nearest Legal Aid.  If you have A toxic mold, (i.e. Black mold) it is very dangerous and there is a chance that the property could be condemned. (Legal Aid is sometimes limited by income). To find a legal aid facility near you go to:

      I had the same problem once, first we contacted the health department and they deemed the air quality unsafe, so we gave the landlord their report and were allowed to move out with no negative reflections
