Why DVD Movies Stutter When Played On My PC?
New DVD of Indiana Jones stutters. Music CD will play fine. Other DVD movies also stutter audio and video for several months now.
Installed Nvidia 8500 a year ago.
May 23. Defrag, deletes and moving files have increased free space from 20% to 30%. Reinstalled ZoneAlarm. An update to zone alarm may have been corrupted. Thanks. Might buy better player software.
June 13. Added 2nd DVD drive. Bundled players work fine on either drive.

Firs of all, if you haven't formated your computer for more then 1 year, this is the main reason
you need to check if you do not have any spy ware or viruses
you probably need to Defragment your Hard drive it is very easy, jest right click on your Hard drive icon, then click on "Tools" and then Defragmentation and then jest let it work, afterwards restart your computer, and try then to see the DVD movie
