The chondrosarcoma is type of bone cancer in which cartilages
of the bones are affected.  The most usual
sites are thighs, spine, knee, arms and pelvis. It is diagnosed by MRI, CT scan
and now latest technique is CT with positron emission tomography (PET
CT) which not only tells about the biochemical functioning
of the cells but also the stages of the cancer. So the results of PET
CT are reliable for the diagnosis of chondrosarcoma.
