I took him to the vet today and they prescribed an antibiotic to be given twice daily. Now he has thrown up and is very weak. Please help!

There are several bacterial and fungal infections. It the infection is on the skin of cat then you must give your cat some antibiotic so that you can get rid of that infection.
Until you are not sure about infection you cannot do anything. You need to take it to vet.
