How Can I Delay My Period When It First Starts?

I have just started my period a week early and my partner is coming over on Friday 23/5/08 to see me and he has been away and we will have sex. Only I do not want to be bleeding. We are both 23 years old.

Unfortunately you cannot stop your period once it has started. However, you can delay it before it starts. For this you can use oral contraceptive pills like Mala D, Femilomn. Start taking the pills a few days after the last period. Continue taking 21 tablets. On 22nd day, discard the placebo pills for 22-28 days and start with the next strip of active tablets. This will stop your periods. They don't work if you start just before your period is to come.

Did you know when girls take birth control pills that the last 7 pills make you have your period. If you skip those last 7 pills you won't have your period.
