I Had An Ear Inf. A Month Ago. I Was Put On Zpack, Bactrim & Nasacort. The Infection & Pain Went Away But My Ears Are Still Clogged Up...can You HELP?

I got an infection which the doctor said it was strepthroat then later gotten another test result saying it's not. My infection was so bad it bother my ears. My eardrum bulged in. The doctor said it's because of the inflammations I had it's putting pressure on my eardrums. The feelings where like I had earplugs all the time. It took about 3-5months to notice it going away.

From personal experience, i have had issues with my ears for years. Doctors keep telling me nothing was seriously wrong. I was telling them that they feel clogged and painful at times. She then recommended children's dimetapp reg. She was right , it helped a lot. So everytime that i have a issue with my ears that is what i do, take adult dose of dimetapp and follow time directions on bottle.

Have you been told there is no wax build up by the doctor if not you could ask for them to be shringed if this makes no difference they may give you more medication or advise you that it could be some weeks before everything settles down again

Hmm... I have no idea. I remember when I had an ear infection, I couldn't hear due to the high pressure and the swollen blood vessel. Do your ears feel hot?
