    Aztec art is originated by Aztec people who were basically American Indian and they evolved a great society in Mexico. They originated a new culture during 14th and 15th centuries. The Aztec art is intimately linked with the structural design of the Aztec culture. The Aztec art is renowned for decorating its temples and buildings with sculptures.

    According to Aztec people one of the reasons for origination of Aztec art is that they try to delight their God with each and every thing they do. The Aztec people have strong belief in God and they love to worship God. One of the main functions of this art is to communicate the legendary and religious ideas to people so that they will have firm belief in God. The sculptures that are made with great really express the idea behind this art and craft. The Aztec people also appreciate wars a lot.

    They believe that God forfeit himself for human beings and God had given his blood to make possible the survival of mankind therefore, man has to be grateful to God and should participate in war to keep up the spirit. The masterpieces whose foundation was Aztec art are: Sacrificial Temple, Emperor's Palace, Flag Bearers, Conch, Sacrificial knives etc
