 A romantic concerto is a concert that mainly involves soulful melodies that reflect the romantic mood of the song. The Romantic Concertos mainly consist of a solo instrument which is being accompanied by several other instruments in the background; however the musical is dominated by the solo instrument. Romantic concertos are of various types some of them are, Violin Concertos, Piano Concertos and Cello Concertos; these are the most famous varieties of a romantic concert. Romantic Concertos came after the Classical Concerto Era.

They started sometime from the year CA 1830 and lasted till the year CA 1900. Some of the most famous Romantic Concerto artists are; Johannes Brahms, Frederic Chopin, Robert Schumann, Edvard Grieg and Franz Liszt.
