Laserk laser vision correction procedure. It stands for Laser-Assisted in Situ Epithelial Keratomileusis and is an "off-label" use of the excimer laser, meaning that the FDA has not yet approved it. You should be at least 20 years of age to under go this procedure.

Let me first say that i am not impartial on this since i have had lasik surgery and think it is miraculous. I wore glasses since i was 18 years old and now i have not worn glasses for almost10 years now.when i first had the surgery afterwards i kept reaching for glasses that we're not on my head for almost three months. The only draw back  that i have been told about is that when i get closer to 55-65 years old i will still need glass to read with. Here is a page all about lasik surgery. Hope this helps.
