    I Have Been Laid Off Form My Job So I Applying To Collect. I Was An Independent Contractor As Well In Past Year. Should I List Those Jobs? Will That Benefit Me Or Hurt Me?

    I want to know if when applying for unemployment due to a lay off I should list my past 1099 jobs as well? Will this help me receive more benefits or could it hurt me?

    You should always be truthful when you apply for benefits or when filling out a job application. If you are caught in a lie you can lose any possible benefit.
    Likewise, an employer will fire you if you falsify information on your employment application.

    HONESTY IS ALWAYS THE BEST POLICY.
