Phone unlocking is basically a term very commonly used these days. Basically the network operators of GSM cellular service sell phones at lower prices in order to attract customers so that they can get the phones at low price and then continue using their services. They supply each set with a special code that will stop the users from shifting to any other cellular service. This special code is called a phone lock. Thanks to technology, there are plenty of ways to unlock a phone and get it free of that special code. This is called phone unlocking.
