Accounting for Small scale business entities
There will be no exaggeration in this statement if we say that small scale business entities are often single owner organizations (Sole proprietorship). These types of organizations or entities have very small size so they can't have the resources to establish an accountants department for their organizations that's why there accounting is different from the large firms. They have a very little setup in which a sole trader is acting so many rolls; he/she is the sales manager, and also the purchase manager, also responsible for marketing and accounts matters as well.
A sole proprietor is also anxious about financial performance (profitability, productivity, prosperity, efficiency and production) and financial position of the organization, which can make him/her able to take certain future decisions. Certain government agencies, like taxation department, also require knowing profits of the organization.
In short, we can say that Small Industries, organization, entities and firms have planned much uncomplicated accounting system because they are working on a very short level and handling small objectives therefore they can't have the resources to afford a special accountant. But as the size of the organizations are very little and these can hardly afford an accountant therefore a very simple accounting system is proposed for such organizations.
