Miles Cavanagh is the leading character, who wants to stay in the Shire hunting, however is if forced to be guardian for a twenty year old, beautiful heiress. He hopes that this will bring him some reorganization. Later he discovers that Felicity is bent on getting married to a fortune hunter. But the problem is Miles falls in love with her.
