    Liaquat Ali Khan was the first Prime Minister of Pakistan. He was a great leader of Pakistan. He was a prominent member of Muslim League. After the death of Quaid, he was the one to stable the condition of the government and as well as of the nation. He signed the Liaquat-Nehru pact. He presented the bill of Proda according to which a person who is on a government seat and found in any case of bribery or misconduct would be disqualified for that post.

    Liaquat Ali Khan dismissed the Mandot ministry in Punjab on January 24, 1949. He lent his port to the United Nations action in Korea in June 1950. During the period of Prime minister Khan Liaquat Ali, there was no script and adherence to parliamentary procedure. The confidence of the nation made him to take steps, sometimes without consulting his colleagues on his own initiative.

    He was assassinated on 16th of October 1951. For Pakistan, it was a terrible shock and tragedy and irreparable loss.
