What Is The Average Annual Rainfall In Korea?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

The level of rainfall varies throughout the year in Korea. The average rainfall in Korea is 1000 to 1500 millimeters but in some regions it is lower and is around 800 to 1000 millimeters per year. The rainfall is very high in the southern regions of Korea. The coastal areas also do not receive as much rainfall as the in-lands and the mountainous regions do. The islands of Korea also receive low rainfall. These differences occur because the land of Korea is quite diverse and each region experiences different conditions.
