What Is The Passion Movie About?

The Passion of the Christ was directed by Mel Gibson and tells the story of the last twelve hours of Christ's life before he died on the cross.There is a lot of blood and violence in this movie. It is not a movie for those who have a weak stomach.  It shows how they beat Christ before he was hung on the cross and left to die. Mel Gibson did a superior job in relaying how Christ suffered and died without offending any one religion. He told the story exactly how it is told in the Bible. This movie is in Hebrew with the English subtitles at the bottom of the screen. They do this because this was the language that was spoken when the events took place. It is hard to follow because one has to read the subtitles. Nevertheless, the movie does leave a thought in one's mind.
