Can We Go To A Galaxy?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Not unless we find another means to go such distances in a reasonable amount of time, even if we could go the speed of light it would take us thousands of years to reach the nearest galaxy. Our galaxy itself is 100,000 light years across. I hope someday we figure out a way to do it, but for now it is impossible for us to reach anything out of the solar system in our lifetime.
