I Want To Make A Complaint About My Lecturer, What Do I Do?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

First off, go home, have a cup of tea, sleep on it and think it through in the morning.  Like with all complaints, the decision to sleep on it can help you become more logical and coherent that means you might change your mind but you can also be much clearer about you wish to approach a complaint if you still want to do so.

First place could be the lecturer them self and you may wish to take someone with you this time.  If you don't get any joy there, it is almost certain that if you have a good case, the student union at your college or university will help you by standing up for you.

There are bound to be complaints procedures.  Most times, the university or college will be scared and the lecturer will be forced to apologise, if all you want is an an apology, that's fine, but if you want to take it further, the University and the S.U will show you to way forward.
